Always embedded in my memories of travel will forever be Utila, Honduras. This island is hard to even put into words because of the people, culture, & diversity. You definitely don’t need a car for this island, when getting off the Utila Dream ferry, go straight across the street and rent a moped or golf cart from one of many choices right by the dock. We didn’t make a plan, just drove our golf cart around until we stumbled in at Underwater Vision.
The vibe here is for the young and old. One of my favorite hostels along the way. You can rent a dorm, private rooms, or suites. Located right on the water and has a PADI Dive Shop on the property. Communal kitchen if you feel like saving $ and cooking your meals, you can choose to eat at the restaurant on site, or head down the street to an abundance of restaurants and bars. Don’t forget to drop in for Happy Hour at REHAB.
Thanks Underwater Vision, the dives were great, food was awesome, and the vibe FAN- FLIPPING- TASTIC! We will be back & bring our friends 🙂
